Poplar Ridge Rental Guidelines
Renting a cabin in the Smoky Mountains is E-A-S-Y when making your lodging reservations with Poplar Ridge. Our rental policies are short and simple: we promise to provide a comfortable vacation stay in clean, well-appointed accommodations and our guests agree to leave the cabin as it was found. Now isn’t that simple?
Renting Guests: Guests renting cabins accept full responsibility for the payment of and care for their cabin and agree to these rental policies.
Minimum Night Stays: 3-Night minimum required, 5-night minimum during October & holiday time periods.

Deposit: Your rental deposit equal to one-night’s stay holds your reservation. Payment in full is due 7 days prior to arrival.
Cleaning Fee: One-time cleaning fee for Aunt Boo’s Cabin is $75. For all other cabins, the fee is $65.
Occupancy: The maximum number of guests varies with each cabin. Due to fire restrictions, you must not exceed the capacity of guests on your rental agreement.
If the number of guests in the cabin exceeds the number stated on your reservation, the reservation will be immediately cancelled with NO REFUND and the cabin will be vacated.
Smoking: All of our cabins are non-smoking. If there is evidence of smoking inside the cabin, you will be charged $250 for time involved in additional cleaning in addition to any lost rental revenue.
Pets: For the comfort of all our guests, pets are allowed in only one of our cabins. That cabin is Reagan’s Retreat, and the pet fee is $50. If pets are found in any other rental, guests will be required to leave immediately and forfeit all remaining vacation days and deposit.
Hot Tubs: Hot tubs are provided for our adult guests. Any children allowed in the hot tub must be supervised for their health and safety. Hot tub covers are very heavy and very expensive; adults should handle with care so as not to incur costs for damage.
Cancellations: Unfortunately, circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your reservation. If you cancel your reservation in writing 30 or more days prior to your arrival, we’ll refund your deposit less a $25 cancellation fee. If fewer than 30 days notice is given, the full amount will be retained if we are unable to book the cancelled dates. No refunds are offered for cancellations less than 8 days prior to arrival. “No Shows” will be charged the full amount.
